What´s Airbrush Tanning?
Airbrush Tanning is a process in which sunless tanning solution is applied to the body by a trained airbrush technician.
What´s in the Airbrush Tanning Solution?
All the components in the airbrush tanning solution can be found in high-end cosmetic products. The key components are: BRONZER – basically food coloring; DHA-DIHYDROXYACETONE – The active in most sunless tanning products; MOISTURIZER – We believe we have the finest moisturizer on the market, just ask our customers. It contains 25% aloe vera, vitamin E, Alpha Hydroxy acids, and collagen amino acids.
How Long Does the Airbrush Tanning Application Take?
The initial application takes about 15-20 minutes followed by about 10 minutes of drying time. After the initial application, you will need to wait at least 6-8 hours before showering to give the tan time to process.
How Long Will the Airbrush Tan Last?
An airbrushed tan should last from 7-10 days.
How Should I prepare for my Airbrush Tan?
- Come into your appointment with clean skin. We recommend a good exfoliation before your appointment.
- Remove any makeup that you might be wearing, and do not apply any moisturizing lotion to your skin.
- Wear loose and comfortable clothing. The tanning solution should not stain your clothing, but we recommend wearing clothing that is washable rather than dry clean only.
- If you have long hair, bring in a hair tie to hold it up during the application.
Can I Choose My Own Shade for the Airbrush Tan?
Yes. You can choose a shade from light to dark, with bronzer or without. We can also custom blend a formula just for you!
What Do I Wear During the Airbrush Tan Application?
You should wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. We provide paper panties for your convenience, or you can bring in your own bottoms or bathing suit. Many customers go in the nude, however men are required to wear a bathing suit for full body applications. We will also provide a hair cover and barrier cream for your hands and feet.
Is Airbrush Tanning Safe?
The airbrush tan is cosmetic. It uses the same basic sunless tanning components as the products being promoted as a smart alternative to UV-Exposure. The main unique feature of this tan is the way it is applied – with an automated misting process.
How long does my hairgrowth need to be in order to wax?
Your hair length needs to be at least a 1/4 of an inch or longer. For most people, that usually is about 2-3 weeks of growth.
What kind of preparations should I do before I come in to get waxed?
Please lightly exfoliate the area you would like waxed at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to lift any ingrown hairs. If you are sensitive to waxing, you may want to take ibuprofen 30-60 minutes prior to your waxing service. This may help to reduce any inflammation or discomfort.
I am having my menstrual cycle, can I still get waxed?
Yes, although waxing a week before or during your menstrual cycle may make you a little more sensitive.
Can you wax during pregnancy?
Yes, it is safe during pregnancy to wax, although you may be more sensitive to the wax.
I am using Obagi, Retina-A, Accutane, or antibiotics for my face, is it safe for me to wax?
Unfortunately, it is not safe for you to wax if you are using these medications or skin products.
What do I need to do after my service to maintain my wax til the next time I come in?
Please lightly exfoliate the waxed area 3-4 days after you receive your service and then again 3 to 4 times a week prior to your next service. This will help to prevent any future ingrown hairs. We also recommend our “Get the Bump Outta Here” Ingrown hair serum to be used after exfoliation.
When should I come in for my next waxing appointment?
Typically, depending on your own natural hair growth, you should be ready for your next appointment in 3 1/2 to 4 weeks.
Can I shave the waxed area in between appointments?
We highly recommend that you do not shave the waxed area in between appointments.
